One leaderboard, ranked by what people paid to be on it.
What this is
clownbid.lol is a public leaderboard. You pay to put your link on it, and you are ranked against everyone else by how much you have paid. Anyone can pass you at any time by paying more. Bids stack, so you can top up to climb back. Nothing is hidden: the amount next to your name is exactly what you paid.
Why anyone would do this
Because a leaderboard of people spending money on a leaderboard is interesting enough that people look at it, and the ones on top get seen. That is the whole product: attention, and a link we count the clicks on. We publish the click totals on the numbers page so you can work out what a spot is actually worth before you pay for one, instead of after.
What it isn't
It isn't an investment, a competition with a prize, or a service with a deliverable. There are no refunds — the board is a public record of what was paid, and reversing a payment would make that record a lie. If the board is quiet, a bid buys you very little. The numbers page will tell you when that's the case.
Who runs it
